Low-Level Laser Therapy

Description
Our BIOFLEX® Laser Therapy system are Health Canada and FDA approved. Laser Therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), Photobiomodulation, or Cold Laser, leverages advanced light-based technology to effectively treat musculoskeletal issues and promote wound healing by utilizing red and infrared light to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. The therapy involves a finely tuned light source placed on the skin, allowing the light to penetrate tissues. The cells then convert this light energy into biochemical energy, aiding in the restoration of normal cellular function and speeding up the healing process without the need for drugs. Our BIOFLEX® Laser Therapy System is highly effective in reducing and/or eliminating pain in conditions such as, but not limited to: • Arthritis Pain and Swelling • Acute and Chronic Pain • Tendonitis and Bursitis • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome • Sciatica, Fibromyalgia and Neuralgia • Plantar Fasciitis • Soft Tissue Injuries • TMJ Dysfunction • Bone Fractures What to Expect: Each laser session typically lasts between 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the injured body part. During these sessions, you won't feel any pain; at most, you may experience a slight warmth on your skin. A standard treatment plan usually consists of 3 to 10 sessions, tailored to your specific needs. For more complex cases, such as diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds or severe burns up to 20 sessions may be necessary. The healing time varies: acute injuries tend to heal faster, while chronic conditions may require more treatments. If you're interested in trying this modality, you may select BIOFLEX® Laser Massage under the Massage Therapy section. If you are a new client, please schedule a Comprehensive Assessment under the Laser Therapy & Packages section, as an evaluation is required before starting treatment.
