Description

Infant massage is a gentle and rhythmic massage technique. It is a specialized form of touch therapy designed for infants aged 0-2 years. Infant massage aids in relaxation and can be particularly helpful in alleviating discomfort associated with common issues like colic, gas, or teething. It may also contribute to improved circulation, digestion, and overall muscle tone. The calming effects of massage often extend to sleep patterns, potentially assisting in the establishment of more regular and restful sleep for the infant. FYI: Parents/guardians are invited to join the session. Your massage therapist will provide instructions on techniques that you can practice at home with your precious little one. Note: It is recommended to opt for a 30 or 45-minute initial session. This will include a 15-minute interview/assessment, followed by a 15-20 minute massage, concluding with a 10-15 minute information session with the parent.
