To take advantage of this benefit, VAC members will need to obtain an annual doctor's prescription to avail of the massage therapy services under their healthcare plan. This streamlined process eliminates the need for veterans to pay out of pocket and then seek reimbursement, making it a more convenient and worry-free experience for them. If you would like the clinic to direct bill, please ensure to provide the following information before you book your initial assessment as the provider will need to obtain authorization from the VAC Medical Authorization Centre. • Your name and DOB • Identification number (beginning with the letter "K") • Physician's name • Date of your doctor's referral Our direct billing services allow veterans to receive the treatment they need and have the costs covered by their insurance. We are honoured to support our veterans and make accessing massage therapy and chiropractic services easier for them.
